The owners of this property purchased the existing house from a DIY enthusiast who had made a series of questionable extensions. When isolating the electrics it became apparent that the exterior lighting was switched off of the bathroom light upstairs.
Ercle was tasked with a brief to work with the existing extensions and to make a higher quality space. The existing space consisted of a bar and lounge that were little more than a corridor and a long thin conservatory - both with leaking roofs. Through clever reordering of the spaces and through small insertions into the existing fabric the space was radically altered within the constraints of a tight budget. The end result was a new open plan kitchen and heart of the home room as well as a utility space.
