The Old Dispensary is an existing building within the grounds of the former Millfields Naval Hospital.  The naval hospital was largely redeveloped in 2000 when it was onverted into a mix use scheme of office space and residential accomodation. For one reason or another The Old Dispensary was left as a derelict building.

The current owners of the building took ownership of the building in 2015 and shortly after approached Ercle to undertake the conversion of the building into apartements.  Through careful negotiation with the listed building officer and with the freeholder Ercle were able to secure the conversion of the building into 12 Luxury apartements.

The development is unique in the Millfields grounds as it is the only conversion to seek modern insertions into the building to acheive the conversion.  The proposal has sought the insertion of modern Zinc dormers and gables as well as the insertion of large elements of glass in order to create a project that is both sympathetic to the original building as well as being unashamedly modern.

This project has seen extensive local press both in the local papers as well as in Devon Life. It is due for completion Summer 2018.
